   Like many others I’ve had Joe Beef on my bucket list every since Anthony Bourdain visited them. I loved my experience and the food was good, but it is a one and done (for me) type of place. I’m very happy I went and would encourage any others to go at least once. The bartender and staff were amazing. Some of the best service I’ve ever had. The entrees/starters were pretty disappointing. But the mains (Lobster spaghetti and also hanger steak au poivre) along with dessert were all very delicious.

   Everything was delicious! Great portions and easy to share with a group. Paris brest for dessert was very good!

   We both had the hanger steak which was excellent. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

   The food and service was very good for a casual and slightly elevated meal. Leave some room for a cheese plate for dessert which was a pleasant surprise in terms of quality and taste.

   Tried calling several times to let them know we were stuck in traffic and running 10 minutes late - no answer. When we arrived I mentioned this after apologizing and the hostess replied with a very obviously rude undertone “We don’t answer the phone during dinner service.” (All of this was in French and I do not believe I was at all rude). Ok, but why ask people to call and let you know if you are running a little late? Table server was far more polite. Oysters & shrimp were delicious. Mains however were so over seasoned they were hard to eat, and we like salt! Overall underwhelmed sadly.
