   Special night celebrating Gus King’s horse Publisher running in the Derby!!!! Gus said it’s the best meal he’s ever had. We truly hope to join you post Derby Saturday night. Gus had a dream 19 years ago and this week lives out that dream. Gus and Tobie particularly wanted to dine at your establishment as they have attended several antique auctions particularly in Tuscaloosa with the owner and would love to connect with him

   Our waiter, Paul, was amazing! Had the best recommendations & was on top of his game. The food was PHENOMENAL. We started with the ruby roll & wagyu meatball, 10/10 for both! We then ordered 14oz NY strip and the 8oz filet, both melt in your mouth! Sides were Mac & cheese and the Brussels, delicious as well! Would definitely go back when we visit the city again!

   We celebrated my birthday at dinner at Jeff Ruby’s Louisville last night, and it was nothing short of amazing — all thanks to Loreal, who made the evening truly special. From the moment we sat down, she went above and beyond to make sure the night felt celebratory and seamless. We started with the oysters, which were fresh, chilled perfectly, and full of flavor. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and incredibly satisfying — true comfort food elevated to fine dining. The crab leg was sweet, tender, and HUGEEEE. The highlight of the meal was the 10 oz Australian Wagyu ribcap — absolutely exceptional. It was cooked to perfection and practically melted in my mouths with every bite. Loreal’s warmth, attentiveness, and spot-on recommendations made my birthday celebration even more memorable. She created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel genuinely taken care of. If you're planning a special night at Jeff Ruby’s, I can’t recommend asking for Loreal enough — she made our celebration unforgettable!

   We celebrated our 15 Wedding Anniversary and dinner was truly unforgettable. We ordered the Firecracker Roll as our appetizer and that Blackened Shrimp with the Jalapeno Cream Cheese followed by Neuske's Bacon, Seared Salmon, and Sweet Chili Aioli was incredibly delicious. I usually always get steak but was on a seafood kick and opted for the Atlantic Salmon instead, and it was a truly inspired choice. Those fire roasted peppers with a hint of garlic elevated that salmon to new heights and made it taste amazingly good!

   We enjoyed another exceptional experience at Jeff Ruby’s. Nick provided outstanding service throughout our evening, and the Bluefin Tuna Flight was truly remarkable. It was reassuring to see that our previous visit was indeed an isolated incident, and that management honored their commitment to delivering the high standard of service and quality we’ve come to expect. General Manager Tony personally stopped by to check on our experience, further demonstrating their dedication to guest satisfaction. I will continue to confidently recommend Jeff Ruby’s as Louisville’s premier steakhouse.

   Jeff Ruby’s never disappoints with excellent food and service. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the menu provides something for everyone. Our server Chandler made our experience perfect.

   Everything was delicious. They brought out regular butter and a mushroom butter(yes it sounds terrible) oh my I couldn’t get enough of the mushroom butter. You have to try. I love lobster so I ordered steak and lobster and my husband had steak and scallops. He had me try the scallops and I hate to say it but they had more flavor than the lobster. I definitely will be ordering scallops next time. Thanks to Charlie and Shelby. These ladies made our night relaxing. Some fine dining places make me uncomfortable. Jeff Ruby’s is fun and delicious!!
