   Jasper's management told diners during the last couple of weeks that they expect to reopen in a new location. We certainly hope that is true. Chef Rathburn's Austin outpost has been a favorite for 10 years. It has been one of the most consistently reliable first rate tables in town. We could always count on delicious food tastefully presented by one of the best waitstaffs for a fair price. We will anxiously await their reopening.

   As usual, the food was outstanding and the service was attentive but not over bearing. Our server was very helpful on suggestions. Prime Rib was marvelous!!!!!!

   I was entertaining an out of town client with my family. We loved every moment of our experience, and were sad to learn Jasper's was closing. We'll be at the opening of the new restaurant with bells on, and will dine there often. Thanks for a great evening!

   The $40 steak had WAY too much gristle, only 2 shrimp and 2 scallops for $37, and the Mac & Cheese was a joke....NEVER AGAIN!!!

   The food and service have been spectacular over the years. Always friendly, helpful and attentive. Imaginative meals and deserts. Great basics of fish, steak, and pork chops with a flare. Hope you move north to Round Rock or Georgetown.

   Waiter didn't know what the specials were and didn't care. The wine list is weak at best, the best bourbon they had was woodford. I believe one of the sauces on the steaks was a combo of liquid smoke and A-1. All around terrible... Especially when your bill is over a $1000 for 9 people.

    I was very pleased with our experience at Jaspers. I needed a last-minute Mother's Day reservation after our previous plans fell through, and was glad I could grab a table here. They accommodated my 90-year old grandmother in her wheelchair, and made my mom and grandma feel really special. The only nitpicking I would have is that my grandma's waffles were burned on the bottom. The waiter was really nice and I was impressed that the manager came by to see how we were doing. Overall, it was a really nice experience.
