Come experience what Herb Caen called "Baghdad By The Bay" with legendary San Francisco Chef Yahya Salih. He blends traditional Mesopotamian dishes with California/Mediterranean influences. I love this family-run place. Excellent food right in my neighborhood. I hope and pray it survives the Covid-opacalypse.

Frequent diners here, where the food is always great. Always flavorful and good portions for the price. Service is friendly and helpful. The salmon and lamb are great.

Wonderful experience visited on Valentine’s Day with family from Hawaii and neighbors who haven’t discovered this gem in SF. We had BOTH a vegetarian and gluten free members of our party but there was so many options that everyone was happy! recommend for Vegetarians the vegetarian options, eggplant, hummus, dolmas, pizza and for gluten free the meat dishes with plain rice For the meat lovers the lamb, beef, chicken dishes all scrumptious.

The food was beautifully prepared, it tasted as good as it looked. The waiter and host were friendly and helpful. Very accommodating. The wine list offered many fine wines reasonably priced. I highly recommend it. I will go back with my friends.

A true, authentic presentation of an underexposed ethnic cuisine. Husband is a fantastic cook; wife runs the dining room with old country flair.

Everything about Jannah is authentic. From the background music to the amazing spices used in their cuisine. Our server was attentive without being invasive. Every bite was melt in your mouth delicious. We are from San Jose but have already decided we will be back!

The food and service here is absolutely fabulous, It's Iraqi cuisine and it's absolutely authentic. It's a family run place, and everyone involved is great. I love coming here, and and the food is always delicious. They have a great beer and wine list, and the prices are very moderate, and the portions are large. Come eat here and you won't be disappointed.

I need to go back and order different things. The lamb shank was tender, but it needed some additional seasoning. I will try the more clearly traditional Iraqi dishes.
