   Our 3rd visit to J Alexander and Food and service have always been great. However our birthday celebration for my wife and a good friend were somewhat ruined because 2 women and 5 kids sat next to us and behaved as if they were in a playground not an upscale restaurant. Kids were running around the table and screaming on occasion. Parents didn't care. We made the manager aware of the situation but I believe he was afraid to say anything because the women were of a certain religious sect.

   J. Alexander's is becoming one of our fav restaurants in Lexington. The service is consistently good and the food is never disappointing. The freezing air conditioning problem is better and we were more comfortable without having to wear jackets or sweaters. Highly recommended restaurant.

   Birthday celebration. Great dinner. Thanks for the birthday card from the staff. Very nice touch. Love the carrot cake
