   Very good service,food was lovely ,Due to Social distancing felt abit Weird not been able to mix with my Guest ,But I do Understand why it’s in place

   A lovely room with a nice big table which accommodated 12 of us with intimacy but not being cramped. It was easy to have conversations with guests on the other side of the table without shouting. There was enough to choose from the more limited menu and everyone found something they wanted to eat.

   We booked this room for a family members Birthday Breakfast and it’s perfect if you would like some private dining and plus we had four kids so it was also suitable for them to get up and down from the table and not bothering anyone.

   A family and child friendly dining environment. Between the 2 families, we have 4 young children, and were able to enjoy the dining experience while having enough space the keep the children entertained.

   I really do enjoy the Ivy and never had a bad experience with the food or service previously, but sadly this particular day was not very good. Some food orders came out wrong and some others were luke warm. It’s always very lovely there and the private dining room was perfect apart from the things mentioned.

   Fantastic service from the moment I arrived to the moemnt I left -a special thank you to the excellent Restaurant Manager and waiting staff. Private Dining Room ideal for my requirements and everyone enjoyed the food. Only reason not 5 stars across the board was that there was a good 5-10 minute wait for one main (Shepereds Pie)

   We booked the Eastern Room private dining for an 18th birthday on Christmas Eve, the booking was made on line and was easy and convenient. The restaurant confirmed my booking and were able to accommodate an extra guest. The day before the restaurant called to confirm my booking and on casual conversation I mentioned the cake, to be told this was not allowed due to health and safety. There had been no mention of this before and certainly not on the booking details. I was initially upset but at such late notice was unable to do anything else. Staff reported that I was able to fill in a waver which would allow us to take the cake but we were not allowed to eat. On arrival the room was bright and staff were very helpful. We decorated the room, we completed the waver and much to our relief we were able to cut the cake and eat following our meal. The food was delicious and our private waiter made for a great evening well worth the service charge! All in all it was a lovely evening and we would go again.

   Fantastic brunch at the Ivy. We hired the smaller private dining room for a birthday party and received great service and wonderful food. Lovely room with space to celebrate whilst still feeling part of the Ivy set up. Will be back!

    I hosted a business lunch for 9 guests in one of the private dinning areas at no extra cost, the whole experience of the lunch was excellent, the guests were all very impressed with the venue, food and customer service, we will be back again very soon!
