It felt a bit unusual for a high-end $$$$ restaurant to have such a young-looking team—some clearly under 21—handling both service and food prep. To be clear, the staff were professional, well-trained, and the service itself was good. However, since they couldn’t take drink orders and seemed quite young, we couldn’t help but wonder about their working conditions and whether they’re being fairly compensated.

Very pleasant experience. The seating is private and quiet. The menu was very creative. I love the Specialty and On the Grill part on the menu. Talkative and knowledgeable waiter.

Excellent food and service. Ingredients were excellent - both the beef and seafood. Table side preparation was excellent. Prices were high at $600 + Tip for 4 people, but that did include quite a bit of A5 and American Wagyu along with some nice Prawns and lobster.

Must haves: 1. On the Grill - Wagyu Tongue Toro 2. Tableside Carved - Japanese A5 Wagyu Ribeye 3. Sides - Golden Kimchi, Shiso Yuzu Daikon 4. Dessert - Sake rice ice cream w popped rice Solid Appetizer - Wagyu Filet Mignon Katsu Sandwich Can skip - Chef’s Choice oysters. Look pretty, but too much of fancy stuff and not enough oyster. Osmanthus Lemon Mousse Cake - kinda bland, couldn’t taste yuzu

Let me first start by saying the rating is given based on the fact that this is supposed to be high end yakiniku so there were certain level of expectation set for this price point. We also went in as with 3 kids so things were a bit chaotic. I would say if I were other no-kids customers, I would prefer to have no kids around me, because there will be certain level of noise and if I am going there on a date expecting a romantic fine dining experience, I wouldn’t want my dinner ruined by kids screaming around me. So they should either make it no kids policy or separate kids and no kids area where possible. There were a few tables with kids around us and there was a couple on a date right next to us and they were not looking too happy. Our kids didn’t scream but there were noises for sure. Meat quality is good but a bit on the salty side. No dipping sauce as everything has been marinated. Personally prefer some variety of seasoning and dipping for the experience and taste. But the server just overcooked all of our meat. They were all wagyu and cooked mostly medium well/ done. I would suggest they should ask the customers to confirm what they want. We ordered a rib eye steak and the server was supposed to be cutting in front of us with a fancy knife but oh man she didn’t know how to cut. You can tell she was very amateur and more focused on protecting the expensive knife than the steak. She also overcooked the wagyu zabuton slices and they were burnt. I would say all of these are fine if you are in a casual bbq/ yakiniku place maybe $50/ head restaurant but definitely not where $100/head type of place. Also nobody cared to come refill our tap water throughout the meal.
