   Incredible- went with friends for an easy Easter dinner and the service was top notch- timing and pace is a huge pet peeve of mine and they absolutely nailed it! To the point that other guests at my table commented as well. Bravo

   My girlfriend and I went to Intero for our anniversary. All of the staff were welcoming and courteous and we loved the overall ambience. They knew it was a special occasion and added a few meaningful extras to help us celebrate. We loved our drinks - the Fumoso cocktail and the Lenotti Valpolicella wine. We also loved the burrata appetizer/small plate. We were much less pleased with our entrees - the mafaldine bolognese and the grilled redfish. My girlfriend is from Louisiana and felt the redfish was too "fishy" and based on our desire to sample a red sauce dish (since we're at an Italian restaurant), the waiter steered us towards the mafaldine or the arrabiata pizza. We should have gone with the pizza, since the bolognese was not a red sauce - and the beef tasted very "beefy" (a weird complaint, I know - we felt it was gamy). I think Intero makes a lovely impression but I would make other menu selections on a second visit. Speaking honestly, though, given the vibrancy of the Austin restaurant scene, I doubt we'll return.

   We really enjoyed our experience for dinner. I appreciated the clarity given for what was available to eat for my gluten allergy. The dessert was top notch. Definitely will return!

   The entire meal was fantastic. The focaccia with the house-made ricotta was delicious, the charred cabbage was phenomenal and the risotto was excellent. AND........at the end our sever brought us some chocolates to sample with our coffee. I can't say enough superlatives about this place!!

   We absolutely love Intero! The ambiance is warm, cozy, and relaxing, and the food is always delicious, creative, and full of delightful surprises. What truly sets Intero apart, though, is the incredible team. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like old friends. We especially love sitting at the bar and catching up with Mark, Rachel, and the rest of the crew. Intero is truly a gem—and we’ll miss it so much!

   Every part of the meal, from the apps, to the first course to the entree, was exceptional, innovative and delicious. Definitely one of my most favorites places in Austin.

   One of my favorite places in town. Went for a work dinner and everyone really enjoyed our time there. The timballo and moda famiglia are a must!

   Chef Ian, Krystal and the entire team hit it out of the park every time. Their incentive approach to dishes are reimagined throughout the venue. It’s really such a treat and adventure. The most important piece to note is, it’s not about what’s good, each dish is truly exceptional. Don’t skip on the potato pizza or sweets. They’re also the best! Thanks to the entire team for a Sunday dinner for the books!

    My godson & I finished a nice day beginning with freshly laid eggs from a neighbors dozen hens that we gathered at 8 AM still warm. He scrambled them in Irish butter, separately sautéing cherry tomatoes in olive oil. Had pumpernickel bagel with cream cheese toasted on side and coffee from Texas Coffee Works fresh ground and chemexed. We went into UT where I taught my Bob Dylan History and Imagination class. An excellent student presentation and discussion of Dylan and Civil Rights analyzing Blowin in the Wind, Sam Cooke’s A Change is Gonna Come and Dion’s Abraham Martin and John against the backdrop of the brutal murders of Emmett Till and Medgar Evers and the foul killings of JFK, Malcolm X, MLK and RFK. lunched at Arturo’s. Did the walk along the shore from Comal in east to past Lamar bridge in the west and back, Then went to Intero. Everything start to finish including the three cold containers of fresh water brought out at just right moment. I had a glass of maconahaze & my godson had the campari, strawberry etc cocktail. We began with sourdough focaccia, house made ricotta, wildflower honey, garden thyme AND house made burrata, baby carrot, tangerine, pecan, rye toast THEN ricotta gnocchi, pork meatballs, turnip, chile, orange, sunflower seed AND the rigatoni, smoked rabbit, mushroom, red wine, horseradish cream Flavors, textures, temperatures were exquisitely perfect throughout. Olivia, who brought us our food, advised and explained and answered our questions about preparation and spices (asking the chef twice), was attentive, relaxed & made our enjoyment so much greater by clearly enjoying herself at enhancing rather than curbing our enthusiasm. We had one of each of the five chocolates & I had one of the three best cortados of the day: Arturo’s (best in Austin), Intero, Bennu on MLK. But all very good range. Saw the bats, then home! Intero has long been my wife’s & my favorite place for an excellent dinner and they somehow never fail!
