   This restaurant confirmed the reservation the day before, yet when we went, the doors were boarded up and all the lights were off. We had to find somewhere else to eat. Do not make a reservation here.

   Very very nice staff. But….they have a catering side business and on a Sunday night told us they were “converting to a buffet on Sunday nights” There was one other gentleman eating alone, and during our dinner one other table arrived. Clearly it is a very slow night at Insatiable Eats. Bottom line, it’s my opinion that the buffet was leftover catering food. Came out of a chafing dish and was warm/cold. And at $34.95 a rip-off. We had limited options at that point and because the staff was cool we stayed. Our decision, and a really bad one. InsatiableEats might be great Monday to Saturday. Don’t go on Sunday night.

   Excellent Caesar salad and delicious entrees. We sat on the patio which was a little loud due to the cars. The staff was very nice but I had to ask someone to take our order after waiting a while. There was some confusion about who was serving our table. We were offered a dessert on the house but were too full to eat another bite. Gnocchi, pappardelle and pesto were fantastic. Parking lot was a little sketchy at night.

   Very disappointing. Was looking forward to trying this relatively new restaurant based on chef’s background. The service was beyond horrible, the food mediocre at best. Prices ridiculous. Not returning.

   Very disappointed. It was a Friday night, and the place was not very busy, so it should not have taken over an hour for the one appetizer to come out. Then we had to keep asking them to get our dinners out because we were going to a show. When it finally came out, we were basically out of time, and the food really wasn't that good, so we didn't bother taking it home. The kicker is they overcharged us by a substantial amount. We placed a call to them about 20 minutes after we left to go over the bill with them but they weren't interested in talking to us about it. Over a three day period, we called four times, each time they said they would call us back, an obviously never did. We eat out 3 to 4 times a week, and never have we encountered such disregard for the customer. I hope they get it together. I never want to see businesses struggle.

   The service and food were great. We ate outside so the noise was from the street traffic but it wasn’t terrible. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

   The food was ok/good. Unfortunately the service was horrible. The place was not busy. We had to ask for menus and bread (which came out 15 minutes after we asked, not hot and stale). We waited a very long time for our food. Other patrons had similar experience, one table left. Price not worth it, very expensive for quality and service. The bartender tried his best. It’s too bad, the restaurant looks nice but most likely won’t return to try again.

   This place was way overpriced for the food and overall experience. $26 for a “large” mixed green salad—just some lettuce and tomatoes. Pasta dish ok—sauce was nothing special. Pizza had too much cheese. They advertise local ingredients, etc. But the food didn’t seem that fresh. It’s Riverhead. They either need lower prices. Or better food to attract people from the Hamptons. They should consider offering lower-prices specials—especially during the week. We ate there on a Monday. Only 3 tables were occupied. Specials could help drive more traffic and bar business.

    We had a 530 reservation but the chef called out sick so we could not order until 6 (great with kids who have early bedtimes). Food was very expensive and ok. Pizza too cheesy. Service terrible. Table next to us walked out. There’s so much potential and a great story, it just needs better management and the owners hands on attention since that story drew us in.
