   Sukhu and Ajit personally oversee every element of Indus and it shows - a beautiful space, amazing food, great service, and a wine list with more reasonably priced great wines by the glass than you've ever seen. Not just your traditional Northern Indian food but a more modern take with exquisite flavors. Can't wait to go back !

   My most recent dinner at Indus Progressive Indian was fantastic (as usual). I hadn't had their Indian lamb chops before, but now that I have, will again and again. I can see why they recently received the Chicago Tribune's award for best suburban restaurant. Such a delightful and delicious evening...

   Sat at the bar. Bartender made great cocktails and was super helpful with food recommendations. So good!

   Wow!!! Celebrated a birthday dinner at Indus and it was fantastic!! Service was earnest and friendly; dining room and place settings spotless. Cocktails were delicious (old fashioned and Indian mule), and the bartender even rustled up a Shirley temple-esque drink for our 9-year old. Food was amazing; chicken tikka masala was spiced perfectly; the Bhoomi burger was delicious; the fish was amazing and flaky. Basmati rice was fresh and also spiced perfectly; the amuse bouche of tomato consume was gorgeous; and I have to say that the star dish of the evening were the spiced carrots (succulent and caramelized to perfection). The chef’s birthday dessert was an unbelievable hazelnut chocolate mousse (the perfect balance of sweetness and richness) with fruit sorbet and flowers. It was soooooooo good. The owner greeted every table and was lovely. We will be back; most likely to try their brunch! Highly recommended.

    Brisket dish was outstanding. So was the shrimp appetizer and the okra appetizer. And the mezcal drink was awesome. The ambiance is fine, but the food and service and energy is outstanding. We will be back for sure.
