   I was unable to eat because they forgot to prepare my meal. My friends said the meals were good but the service was terrible. Five of us went to dinner, and they forgot to prepare two meals. When we arrived at the restaurant, we heard patrons arguing with the staff about the service. That should have been a clue to leave, but we persisted. To sum up, they were catering more towards take out orders over inperson patrons. Friendly staff but lousy service.

   Took a while to receive our food, but when we did it was very good. We came here to celebrate a family birthday, and had to wait quite a while to receive our special dessert and candle thing. After we had seen another table get theirs. We ordered a second paratha, but by the time it came we had finished our food. That said, it was a pleasant dining experience and I would happily return.

   The waitress was busy taking all of the in house orders and telephone orders, but she was still very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed the food, but returned an entree we did not like as much. They were happy to replace it with something we did like. The ambiance was dimly lit and quiet for dining. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. We would return again.

   Indian Spice is an unassuming Indian restaurant in Park Slope Brooklyn. My wife and I dined there recently on a lazy summer afternoon. Our table was ready and waiting for us. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food is simply wonderful and reasonably priced. We had 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and a beer for less than fifty dollars. Don,t be fooled by the name, Indian Spice, there are plenty of dishes that are not spicey. This is a wonderful restaurant.
