   We had a wonderful experience at Il Tinello. The food (salad, pastas, veal parmigiana and dessert) was excellent. The service was impeccable and the stall warm and welcoming. A very special restaurant.

   This is one of those New York gems that one dreams about. No artifice just great people great food. If I lived in that neighborhood I'd be there once a week.

   I have posted many reviews about this restaurant. It continues to be our favorite in New York. Everything about it is great. We are always made to feel extraordinarily welcome whenever we dine there. The food and drinks are wonderful. It is truly a very very special place.  The food and drinks are wonderful.

   This restaurant is one of our favorites. The food is consistently great, and the service is excellent. It is a neighborhood gem.

   The perfect neighborhood (but upscale!) Italian experience. From the small of garlic when you walk in to the grappa at the end, you are family here. Benny and his team provide a warm welcome. The food is amazing. Start with the table side Caesar salad and definitely save room for the housemade desserts. Any of the entrees are excellent. A perfect date night experience! Also good for a business dinner.

    I've dined at Il Tinello twice now. The food is terrific, ambiance is elegant and lovely, and the service friendly and attentive. Benny, the owner, greets customers warmly and makes you feel like you're dining in his home. On my most recent visit with a colleague, all the above remained true, though we were bothered by the way one of our servers handled a particular issue. My original review detailed this. Within less than 30 minutes of posting it, Benny called me directly. He was clearly concerned that we had had that disappointing part of our experience, and made me feel like a valued customer. Mistakes happen everywhere from time to time--how a business cares and handles them says a lot about it. I'm super impressed by how much this restaurant cares, which is consistent with the high caliberr of the food and service overall. I'm greatly looking forward to my next visit!!
