   food was great but came out very cold as if it sat on the counter for 20 minutes. service from walking in to table service to manager follow through was all not acceptable. if reception, servers, and manager had provided better service this would have been a top pick for me. hats off to the chef but the food was obiviously left on the counter for an unnecessarily long time. sorry to say i will not return because of the service and there are better options downtown but this this is highly disappointing to me because the food was great or best but you staff failed you and would not be an experience i would like to attend again. what kind of manager asks (do you want me to throw you a shrimp) when they serve you a cold meal.

   I usually go to the Beachwood location. This was my first time at the Downtown one, and I really enjoyed it. Service was great, thanks to Tara. Food was very good, just wish it was a smidge lower in price, but the cost will not keep me away...My girlfriend and I had a great meal to start our evening out. Thanks!

   Not just excellent steak, but creative touches for familiar entrees. Great shrimp, delicious lobster bisque, the best fries we’ve had in a long time, great wine list. Server Sarah was terrific.

   Our reservation was for 5pm. The website indicates that the bar is open at 4:30pm so we arrived at 4:45pm to have a drink before dinner. The door was locked & someone inside said the manager needed to unlock the door with his key. We stood in the cold until exactly 5pm when the manager, dressed in jeans & long sleeved T-Shirt unlocked the door with a glare. We booked through Open Table & the staff called us "walk ins". I reminded them that we did have reservations & did book through Open Table but apparently we were inconvenient "walk ins". We were seated by our server who did not tell us his name, did not tell us the specials & rushed us to order. We were finished eating before the table next to us had their meals & we were seated at the same time. This was a terrible experience. We usually go to Ruth's Chris but wanted to try something different. We will never go back to Hyde Park.

   I was less than impressed with both the food and the service. Our waitress was not very personable at all. My boyfriend's steak was not prepared the way he wanted it and because of that, even with them trying to fix it, he just couldn't eat it. Medium-well means not a bloody mess and it was just that. Side dishes were just ok. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Morton's is right across the street and Ruth's Chris is less than a mile away. I should've chose one of those. Live and learn.

   Our dinner was great. We had the crab cake which was delicious. The bone in ribeye and au gratin potatoes were excellent. Service was wonderful. We will definitely go back.

   Our service was not up to par with what you would expect from Hyde Park. The table was missing silverware. We had to ask to get our drinks refilled. The sides did not come out until we were almost completely done with our meal.

   Food at Hyde park is always delicious. They serve the best steaks out there. My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week and we were not disappointed. My boyfriend loves the Smokey old fashioned there. The only complaint we had is that it took a while for him to get an ice cube for his drink. Otherwise everything was great!

    Hyde Park was simply fabulous! The food, the ambiance, the company....all GREAT!! Had a fabulous dinner, then headed to the casino to win some $$
