I had a very pleasant time with friends at Hwaban. The food was more towards serious Korean which I like very much. I had Abalone, Fish Stew, and Oxtail and they were not just delicious but also depth of the flavor was very satisfying. Modernly interpreted interior of the restaurant in clean, and quiet mood made me focus on the food and conversation with friends. Additionally, service of the waiters were enough, not too intrusive, not too careless.

The pollock roe wasn’t anything special but all other dishes are clean and full of flavor. The kimchi cheese is a must !!
