   Nothing wrong with this place. Exceptional food, service and ambience. Also a great location just off Times Square.

   We had a wonderful experience…we were delayed arriving but the hostess was most accommodating when we called. Everything was perfect including the chef coming tableside to check on food allergies. And they had us out in time for the theater without feeling at all rushed…despite arriving a tad late

   Unbelievable service from the moment we walked in the door! Super attentive staff food was great. Most importantly we’d loved the bartenders was stunning with highly recommend.

   Extraordinary!!! From the hostess, to bartender, to our server, to the staff clearing our table of bread crumbs and every professional in between the service was amazing and so genuinely friendly. No pretentiousness. And the food — this is what classic NY restaurants (who have not stayed SO classic the food is sub par) should be. Having Chef Herb Wilson in the kitchen has made Hunt & Fish once again a treasure. The food is, quite simply, excellent. Scallops, baked shrimp, truffle mushroom pasta, tuna tataki, oh — and the best asparagus I have ever put in my mouth (I know, who raves about asparagus??? — but this was special) were all standouts. And the chocolate mascarpone cake? I don’t love mascarpone — but this was light and whipped and just so good. And a gorgeous space as well!!

   It was amazingggg, our waiter was extraordinary (think his name was Matt) his recommendations were on point. The chef even came to speak with us, really great restaurant and service.

   After walking by the place for years and thinking it looked so nice I finally made a reservation and had dinner there before a show. Wish I had gone sooner. The atmosphere and food were outstanding but the service is exceptional. Mathew was a standout. I would say he was my server, but really he came across as a host. Very friendly, had an in-depth knowledge of the menu and you can tell he is a huge fan of the restaurant. This place is not merely a pre-show gem, but someplace I would go for a special occasion. I will be back.

    Wonderful. Decadent, opulent aesthetic. Kind and endearing staff. Delicious food. Great for post-theatre dining .
