   Love the atmosphere, people are nice except the hostess, not nice at all. Hello restaurant management! The first person your guest sees is the unfriendly hostess. Server was great, food was average. Biggest issue is price, it’s not aligned with the quality and overall experience. I don’t mind spending $200/person if the food quality is outstanding, and it’s not. Bar is cool, unique fish tank bar, again drinks were average and way over priced.

   We were excited to try this for dinner but it’s so over priced for what you receive unfortunately. We should have done Nobu for a second night. Also it’s on the other side of the luau so we heard that music and the competing music in the restaurant. We had the ube brioche, daily catch which was just good. Desserts were probably the best thing we ate. Hula pie (smaller than normal hula pies) and banana pudding was tasty.

   All the soups and curries were hand poured at the table. Phenomenal catch of the day. Lobster bisque was 5 star. Best iceberg wedge ever, big enough to share for two. New aquarium in bar makes for a romantic early meetup. Bravo!

   Lovely evening at Humumu. The baby wedge salad, Brussel sprouts, and pacific snapper were delicious! The seabass was a little fishy tasting for me, but my husband liked it. Great experience always at Humumu.

   The food was good, but not amazing and overall felt very overpriced for the return. Service was slow, especially given that the ratio of staff seemed to at least equal the customers on a Saturday night. The staff was very nice, but the speed of service was difficult to palette as we watched a number of neighboring tables leave mid-dinner. Our experience was maybe attributable to an off night but left a very mediocre taste.

   Beautiful restaurant, the food was so good, especially the fish dishes. Server was very nice. I recommend this place.

   Limited vegetarian options. No “traditional” options for kids. If your kid likes kid food, no real options.

   Best item of the evening was my wedge salad. Both my wife and my sea bass and snapper entrees fell into the slightly-better-than-“meh” category. Our server definitely gave off the “I don’t really want to be here” vibe. With so many restaurants within walking distance, this will not be a repeat experience.

   This is my favorite place to eat in Wailea. The staff is phenomenal. The atmosphere is beautiful. Food is great and the Mai Tais are unbelievable. I was sad to see that the lights were out on the palm trees and around the lagoon when the sun went down, but still a gorgeous place to be.

    We got the crab cake and goat cheese salad appetizers. Both were solid. We also had 2 of their signature cocktails and both were poor. You’re on Maui so you know you’ll be paying through the nose but the quality was average for the food and way below average for the cocktails which brings the value to a 1 star. The ambience was what we were looking for and the service was excellent and very friendly.
