My husband had the scallops and a brie salad- loved them both! I had the gnocchi and it was outstanding. My dessert was very good but it took a while to come out because it was so complex to make. I can't remember the name because it had many ingredients but I do remember it had cheddar ice cream in it.

Overall good experience. However one guest ordered the lamb, which was burned and overcooked. The second lamb came out nearly raw, but the guest had already waited 20 minutes for the re-do, so he made do. Saurebratten was very good and the service was fine.

Returned after a three-year hiatus and were pleased. Some of the staff remembered us, which is always nice. The owner came to our table and chatted a while. The food was delicious, and the tapas selections were adequate. Looking forward to dining again at the Glen Gardner Inn in the near future.

The red snapper entree was excellent, however my wife's veal tips this time were a bit disappointing - tough and fatty - unlike on a previous time when they were tender and excellent. Would still recommend Glen Gardner Inn for a fine dining experience. Service is always excellent.

we said " lets give it a try, we have lived here 24 years and never until this moment have we even thought about dining at the Glen Gardner Inn.. Wow we were surprised the food was great and the ambiance was such that only in traveling to New England one might find this kind on dining environment . If your ready for a surprise, surprise yourself !

We've eaten here a couple of times before, but it seems like something may have changed. It has been been declining with each visit. It took forever to get our meals. There was no children's menu, so we had to order pasta with butter for my daughter. Instead of getting it with our appetizers, it came after our meals because it was "overcooked". We waited so long she fell asleep. My steak was dry and my mashed potatoes were dry & crusty. The fish was undercooked. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement.

I made reservations at the last minute on open table but when I got there they were unaware of my reservation. Next time I'll just call. We were able to be seated though it was right by entrance and the bar. The room was very chilly at times. Food was very good and servers very friendly. Will definitely go back
