   I had high hopes for this restaurant and had been wanted to go for a long time prior to going with my husband for for brunch. Unfortunately, our first impression was poor. We arrived and there was no designated host area to wait, so we and another couple stood very confused by the bar. Five employees walked by or were working at the bar without acknowledging us or the other couple for about 5 minutes. I understand being busy with other tasks and not being able to seat us immediately but for that multitude of employees to ignore both sets of customers is not great customer service. We ordered; I got a coffee drink, gravlox toast, my husband got the chicken and waffle, and we split the sticky bun. Our food took what felt like an extraordinary long time for the number of tables seated while we were there. It was about 30 minutes for our food to come out. I was hopeful to be able to drink my cafe au lait with the sticky bun, but that was not the case. The food was ok - the chicken and waffles and the sticky bun was good. The salmon was not what I was expecting, but I’ve never had had cured gravlox before, so that maybe just be me.

   Excellent service and excellent food. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and my friend ordered best steak and eggs. We were both really pleased. The waitress was attentive but not overly so. Atmosphere was small, intimate, and once they turn the music down good for conversation. I highly recommend this quaint cool spot. Looking forward to going back to sit outside on the patio!

   The food was amazing, we really loved the chicken liver pâté and pig cheeks, overall everything was well executed, cooked perfectly. We ordered a bottle of wine, the chenin blanc, and it complemented all of dishes. Service was on point too. Overall, we are looking forward to a return visit.

   Hummingbird is cute, quite and overall great place! I think I would just go back for cocktails or lite snacks. The food was yummy but after running 9 miles I needed some meals that had more substance. The meals look like pieces of art ❤️

   Other than our service being surprisingly lackluster, the food was delicious and relatively affordable for the quality.

   The service was slow for such a small place with so few tables. The tables were also pretty crowded together. The food was good, just could have had better pacing.

   Adorable little place with good craft cocktails. The food is delicious, but pretty pricey overall.

   Great Valentines meal with my wife & another couple. Aside from the music being loud enough we had trouble talking to each other the experience was outstanding!
