If you are looking to enjoy the beautiful Dobbs Ferry waterfront, host a special event, or you are taking the train up from or to Manhattan, Hudson Social is the perfect stop for great food and drinks. Located in the Historic Dobbs Ferry train station house, we offer a cozy and welcoming dining experience.
Our cafe offers an assortment of the finest baked goods, coffee, and fresh juices. Our “all day” menu represents an American Bistro using all-natural and local ingredients.

We feature a spacious indoor dining area, along with outdoor seating & bar. We have ample parking, consisting of our own spaces next to the restaurant, and permits for parking in the Dobbs Ferry commuter lot. We offer entertainment weekly, and we would be happy to cater your next party or event.

The location is great and the view is lovely. But we were seated close to the music, so it was very loud and hard to have a conversation. We only ordered and appetizer, which was not very good. Paid extra for an add on that was barely added. Waiter did not fix the issue and had a lame answer when we asked why it was not what we ordered. Hostess seemed clueless when asked about the food and later when asked about paying cash inside. Manager showed up as I was paying and removed the item in question. I was only asking for the extra few dollars to be credited, but he took the whole item off. So he was helpful, but overall, not a great experience.

I made a reservation before 5 pm for 6 pm same night. When i arrived host said I didn't have a reservation and wouldn't seat us. I looked at open table and there were 7 seatings available. There were also empty tables on the patio. The male host said they were full. We left and went to Half Moon.

Good menu with ample portion size. Something for everyone on the menu. My fave is the hummus with pita appetizer. Big enough to be an entre.

We have dined at Hudson Social many times over the past several years. It is consistently very good quality gastro pub food with a great atmosphere and very friendly accommodating staff. It is located in a restored early 20th century train station building at the Metro North station along the Hudson River. Cozy and comfortable in winter and great outdoor dining in warmer months with views of the Hudson for an affordable price and often live music. Highly recommend this restaurant.

An amazing eatery with fabulous views of the Hudson in a town park setting. Food is delicious and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended for those wanting to enjoy some great food and scenery that will amaze you no Marge time of year!!
