   We visited Kauaʻi to celebrate our anniversary. The coconut shrimp was a highlight — very tasty and well-prepared. However, the ribeye, which was advertised as 45-day aged, was a disappointment. It may have been the way it was cooked, but honestly, the steaks we grill at home with Costco meat taste better. The meat was also heavily covered in sauce, which masked its natural flavor. The mai tai was much stronger than expected, to the point of being a bit overwhelming. On a positive note, the location is truly beautiful — overlooking the golf course’s signature hole, with stunning sunset views and a relaxed, romantic atmosphere. If you’re coming for the ambiance, you won’t be disappointed, but I would recommend keeping your food expectations modest. The brownie and ice cream they served at the end were excellent — definitely the best part of the meal. Overall, while we appreciated the setting, we likely would not return. It was a memorable experience overall, but for the food, there are better options on the island.

   As usual, the service at Hualani was superb. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy with friends on my husband’s birthday. We each had a different salad to start and then shared the signature whole fish pupu. We ended with the best lava cake in Kauai (maybe in all of Hawai’i). It was such a fun and delicious way to spend an evening with friends. The live music was a bonus!

   Our favorite restaurant on the island! Steve and Tristan provided excellent service and food recommendations at each of our three visits during the last month. The fresh fish selections and wine pairings were amazing. Thank you. We will see you next year. Mahalo.

   We very much enjoyed our meal at Hualani's. The scallops appetizer was superb (we were actually thinking of having another order for dessert!). The Captain's Combo fish dish was wonderful with the tuna perfectly seared. Our waitress was very knowledgable, friendly and efficient. She graciously exchanged a glass of white wine that wasn't to our liking. On the slightly negative side, we found the live music a little too loud even though we were seated away from it. Also the wine glasses were very spotty and would benefit from a bit of polish after they come out of the dishwasher. Overall, we would go again and do recommend it.

   The overall ambiance is amazing the views the setting the music and the service, however the food was not that great or worth the price, I ordered ribeye and it was smothered in gravy and more like a skirt steak, my wife ordered fish and it was ok , we will go back for the ambiance drinks and popus.

   Bill is this sat in a gorgeous bay with beautiful grounds. The service was excellent. The food was good we particularly enjoyed the tiramisu.

    Server, Marc was attentive and professional. His aloha was appreciated. Easter buffet was fresh and attractive. Enough options without being overwhelming
