Hoy Como Ayer is a beloved cocktail lounge in Little Havana. Since 1999, it has been a cultural staple, celebrating salsa, Latin music, and Calle Ocho’s nightlife. Now, it offers expertly crafted cocktails and Latin-inspired bites that honor regional flavors. The venue features three unique spaces: the main room, where guests enjoy handcrafted drinks and flavorful small plates; El Pasillo, an outdoor hallway perfect for cocktails al fresco from a traditional ventanita; and La Sala, an intimate lounge for private events. Whether sipping a cocktail, indulging in Latin-inspired flavors, or listening to classic Latin sounds, Hoy Como Ayer continues to capture the essence of Miami’s cultural spirit.

False advertisement!! We chose this place because they were advertising live music that night. They even stated the name of the band and DJ. Online it stated the live music would start 9pm. Once we arrived and asked, we were told they would start at 9:30pm. About an hour later, we asked again, and were told it would start at 10:30. Around 11pm, I asked what time the live music was starting, and was told there would be no live music. We could have gone anywhere else that night, but chose Hoy Como Ayer based on their promise of live music. It was very disappointing to have been promised one thing, and have the complete opposite. We spent hundreds of dollars on drinks and food (very limited selection), only to go somewhere else after and finally see some live music. If you’re interested in enjoying live music, save yourself the trouble, and go elsewhere.

The place looks amazing after the renovation. Beautiful decor and very cool atmosphere. It definitely has the potential to be one of Miami’s nicest bars. Congratulations!

Una noche inolvidable, un ambiente muy bonito familiar y agradable, por favor que se repita ese grupo. Música tradicional cubana. El grupo fenomenal. Muchas gracias Hoy como ayer. El servicio excelente. El grupo Cortadito el mejor
