   As usual Houstons is right on the mark for both food quality and service. Had lunch there two days in a row and everything was great.

   We had a great dinner. The hostess, server and bartender who served us gave exceptional service and are an asset to your restaurant. We were there on 07/08/2016 in the evening.

   My wife and i live in the east valley. We belong to a high end country club. Dress code and all. Meals are fine. But when we want a real night out. Where we can wear dress shorts and a golf shirt we head to Houstons. Never a bad meal. Been eating here 5 to 6 times a year since 2001. Trained servers like we have never seen

   Expensive..used to be more reasonable..and portions are not generous... Have to ask for catsup and when brought skimpy too! I do like the food..but the ahi salad which is yummy is $25 and small...and i think the prime rib sandwich has shrunk in size too.. So disappointing...

   I HAD MADE 5:45 RESERVATIONS. WAS DISAPPOINTED IN NOT GET SEATED UNTIL 6:05. I MADE THOSE RESERVATIONS BASED ON NEEDING TO MAKE IT TO A SHOW, SO FELT A BIT RUSHED TO EAT OUR DINNER IN ORDER TO LEAVE IN TIME. SERVER, AMY, WAS EXCELLENT. VERY FRIENDLY, ACCOMMODATING AND EFFICIENT. I ALWAYS ORDER THE VEGGIE BURGER AT HILLSTONE AND CONFIRM THAT IT IS THE BEST VEGGIE BURGER IN TOWN. DID NOT FIND THE VEGGIE BURGER AT HOUSTON'S TO HOLD THAT SAME TITLE. IT WAS EXTREMELY SPICEY IN COMPARISON TO HILLSTONE'S AND THE KALE SALAD WAS NOT AS DELICIOUS AS HILLSTONE EITHER. BRUSSEL SPROUT APPETIZER WAS OUTSTANDING.

   We had reservations and were seated on time. The service was good and food came out cooked perfectly. I had prime rib medium rare and it was delicious. My husband loved the bread. He had ribs and said they were ok. Our friends were split on the food. My girlfriend had steak and she didn't like the crust on the meat but it was cooked perfectly.

   I order the Tuna Burger ----- it was 90% Bread and the Tuna was not fresh. Not at all what I would expecet at Houston's/

    From the service that was timed perfectly to the scrumptious rib eye steak and spare ribs that fell off the bones, our dinner was a wonderful experience. I would also leave room for the fudge sundae which we shared.
