In House Wine's NEW Spy House Tasting Lounge located just behind House Wine in the Blue Building we offer Bottle Service, Tapas, and Desserts. This beautiful and swanky room is the perfect place to take a date or hang out with a group of friends. If you're going to the Zach Theater or The Long Center we're the best before or after spot ~ bring your ticket stub for a free dessert or $1 off your glass.

It's perfect for company events, wine dinners, anniversaries, and all of the special occasions in your life! To reserve House Wine's Spy House for a party of 10-50 guests, we charge a $350 rental fee and $500 budget minimum to be spent on food and wine. We will work with you to create a budget and menu that makes your event fun and easy! Spy House together with House Wine is available for private buyouts if you would like to utilize the entire venue for your event.

    Very friendly service in a quiet atmosphere that definitely felt unique. Wine selection was great. The advice and knowledge of the staff was very helpful. Definitely worth another visit.

    What a delightful new discovery! I was searching for an informal place for a lite bite and good wine selection. We were the only people upstairs in the Tasting Room, so we had all of Blake’s attention which I am sure he would have still been very attentive had the place been busy. His recommendations were spot on, and I discovered a new red wine favorite—so good I bought two bottle to go becathey have a retail license. This place will become a regular go-to choice for us!

    It was a beautiful spot, but it was a bit confusing. When we arrived, we walked into the first building and the menu looked different than what we saw online. After deciding on hummus, I asked the bartender (who was super sweet!) about checking in for our reservation and she informed us it was in the building in the back. It was odd, but the service was great, as was the wine. The hummus was a bit boring, though. I’d go just for the wine.

    My husband and I absolutely LOVED everything about House Wine Tasting Room! The ambiance and live music was superb, along with their amazing wine list and delicious artisan cheeses and charcuterie boards. It’s a romantic spot with a lot of class and charm. We loved the intimate setting with candles and super comfy chairs. The sommeliers are all top notch as well. Highly recommend!

    This place was a great start to the bachelorette party! The tasting room is small and separate from the main house, only our party and the waiter were occupants for the 2-3 hours we were there. Great ambiance and seating arrangements! It was very comfortable and laid back. Only con is the lack of food options so make sure you’ve had a meal before spending time tasting wines. Many of our party ordered wine tasting flights which were 3 glasses. The staff was very knowledgable about each wine as he poured our glass. I will definitely be returning when I visit Austin again!

    House Wine is easily one of my most favorite places to go in town for wine and to be in a really cozy setting. The new tasting room that has opened up is lovely and Blake is very knowledgable about wine and pairings. He will not steer you wrong! This is a great place to relax with friends or have a romantic evening out! Or really just get a wonderful glass of wine!

    You can't really eat dinner here, it's only appetizers. When we made our reservation we didn't know that. We had to find dinner at another place. The only problem with this restaurant is that you can actually get food and cheaper wine at the little restaurant downstairs. However, the service was good and it's a cute place.
