   Our birthday group had dinner to celebrate my birthday. Our Chef Paul is a EXCELLENT Chef with a great sense of humor and fun personality. Our food was delicious; We had a fun and awesome time. Overall great experience.

   The restaurant really rushes you through your meal. Line up to get to your table, hurry up and order, eat your salad, down your soup, watch the chef, pay your bill and get out of the way. If you don't leave the table right away expect glares from the staff until you do. We have been to many Japanese Steak houses before, and never experienced such behavior before.

   The sole was as delicious as ever! The food is great and we were seated with a really wonderful family. Always great at HOJ.

   Fairly slow service, chef was competent but didn't perform many theatrics. Rice was mushy, proteins were decent but not overwhelmingly outstanding. Main dining room was uncomfortably warm.

   Always a fun time watching your meal being prepared. Our chef was great - kept everyone entertained while still serving an excellent meal. Filet and shrimp were both perfect!

   All in all it was a very nice Mother's day dinner. It was one of the better Japanese Steakhouse experiences in Columbus. We have been to at least 4 to 5 other similar restaurants and this one held up just fine.

   This may have gotten a higher rating but the service was very rushed. It took forever for them to take our drink orders and meal orders. Then the chef rushed to cook our food and after about 15 min we were brought our bills and to go containers. We weren't even done eating . Wont be going their again.

    This was a great outing. Despite the fact that there were some technical issues with our grilling station the chef did an amazing job getting our meal cooked and management came to apologize several times and provided a discount for our dinner. We will be sure to visit again. The food was both excellent and plentiful.
