   Amazing food and atmosphere. We have been coming here for the past few months and we have never been disappointed. If you want fine dining and home cooked food then this is the place. The owners and staff are so lovely and friendly and cannot do enough for you. Both the menu and Sunday Carvery are amazing. You need to experience the great hospitality, friendliness and welcome that this place has. Not many have that anymore but this Pub does. I highly recommend.

   visited here recently with husband and son, as not been here for a good while, but had heard very good comments about food and also the new managers who took over last year. Cannot praise them enough. Very warm, friendly and chatty. overall ambience was good, thought some background music in the bar would be nice, but was pleased that at least there was background music in actual restaurant. Some candles/tealights on tables, would have completed the ambience we thought. Food was excellent. All three of us had different dishes, all served piping hot by a lovely friendly waitress. We will definitely be back soon, as we live locally, and have already recommended to friends. Looking forward to the warmer weather to take advantage of the lovely garden. Well done to the new team there!
