An 1888 Farmhouse with a 2010 renovation including a rustic tavern, outdoor dining deck, and expansive beer garden. We love being a Beer Place in the Wine Country. Come to HopMonk for fresh seasonal draft beer, tasty meals, local wines, rustic tavern atmosphere, a beautiful deck and beer garden, fine live music. Beer is fun; we know you'll enjoy our relaxed and informed service. We love large groups and accommodate them on a daily basis. reservations are advised for groups. New at our Sonoma HopMonk: On special Sundays our Tavern Stage area is transformed into an intimate Listening Room with theater style seating for performances by headliners. Tickets sold online. Good quality ingredients and delicious food prepared with care. I had a Reuben sandwich with garlic fries. One of the best I've ever had. My sister had the hopmonk burger & enjoyed her meal. It looked delicious. Nice selection of beer & mixed drinks. Service was friendly & attentive without being intrusive. Nice casual dining experience. I'd come back again.

We have been to Sonoma many times, but had not been to this great restaurant. We found it on Open Table because we wanted somewhere to sit outside and have cheeseburgers. It was perfect. Lovely garden, delicious beer and absolutely great food! We had fish & chips, cheeseburgers, French fries and dessert. It could not have been better.

First night of our Sonoma vacation and wanted a fun, relaxing place with good food and good vibe. Found it! Happened onto it from OpenTable app, as it had open reservation at time we wanted to dine. Lucky us. Great place and highly recommend.

Service was very slow - it was a half hour between ordering and getting food. Even our drinks - two beers - took 15 minutes. The food also came all at once. Appetizers, salad, and entrees. The food itself was decent to very good. The artichoke was undercooked and probably not ripe, but the flavor was good. Pork sliders were excellent. Tomato salad was very good. Overall a disappointment. They need to get their house in order.
