Try their Kurobuta pork chop the best ! Moist, thick, tasty tender pork chop!! The Hawaiian shrimp salad with cilantro and orange awesome refreshing tasty salad! Their fish and chip was also very good! As well as the crab dip ! Great service ! Very attentive great food and ambiance !!

This was a very nice restaurant. We had the sustainable fish for dinner and it was delicious. Our waiter provided excellent service. While dining we were treated with delightful music. This isn't something that happens regularly, but very special during the Jazz Party!

My wife and I enjoyed this restaurant. We only saw two staff members but they were very attentive. Tai appeared to be the host, server & manager and had one assistant. He was personable and well informed on the menu, and checked on us often. The food and bar drinks were very good. I had the 3-item chef special which was a great value at $30. There was some noise from the bar area but not excessive. My only suggestion would be to section off some of the restaurant on slow evenings to create a more cozy atmosphere. Thank you Tai for your service.

We went at 6:46 pm on Saturday night and the restaurant is large, but there was only one other table of patrons, which was great since it's almost impossible to find a nice restaurant in Newport Beach where you can hear the people at your own table speak. Tod (Todd?) was our server and he was amazing, friendly, got all the orders right, and took great care of us. The menu had everything we wanted - it's not gigantic, but it's excellent. And I'm a vegetarian (but I eat fish). I consider this place a real "find".

Stayed at the hotel for the weekend and ate dinner there our first night. The meal was underwhelming. I ordered the New York Prime and it was very salty. My wife ordered the salmon and had the same complaint. The decor is modern, but no real ambience as the entire restaurant was very brightly lit. It turned out the same menu was provided as the room service menu. The subsequent items we ordered the next night had the same issue. Lots of salt, but not much else for flavor.

This place has the potential to be an amazing restaurant, however it needs a major overhaul. The food is delicious, but the service is terrible and the ambience is pretty sad.
