   This was one of the worst experiences. We made a reservation and still had to wait an hour to be seated. Once seated, the server came to take our order. He did inform us that their app sampler was running slow but everything else was good. We ordered food and after 45 minutes it was not finished and once it was completed we were told that there were no sides. The staff then began to argue with each other and could not figure out how to complete our order. After another 15 minutes we still did not have our sides and decided to leave. The owner also pushed a chair in the meantime when the hostess was explaining the issue to him. Very unprofessional. We do not suggest ever eating there.

   My reservation was at 8pm on valentines day and didn't get seated till almost 9pm. The waitress took forever to come to my table. She started taking our orders then told us the kitchen was on hold because they were backed up. We then decided to just order drinks and never got our drinks just to find out they were about to close so we got up and left.

   Worth our 75 mile drive for great soul food. Our bartender was pleasant and very knowledgeable. We will be back!

   Good atmosphere, good food I recommend the ribs and shrimp.

   This review is no reflection on the actual restaurant but on Open Table for not knowing that the restaurant hours were different on NYD. I thought when you had a restaurant on your site for people to make reservations for, if there's a holiday Open Table would make sure that those hours are accurate. We drove all the way to Hoodfellas restaurant in Baltimore and they were not open on New Year's until 5pm... The Open table app read that it was open and allowed me to make a reservation and I had to put a credit card to hold the reservation. Open Table, if this is your platform for us to make reservations, please make sure the information on your site is accurate.

   There was a small issue when we arrived but overall, our experience was great. I made my reservation on Open Table but the Hostess was unable to locate my reservation. Once accommodations were made, our night continued on blissfully.
