   Hoexter's Kitchen & Bar in NYC offers satisfying, classic comfort food. The Pork Milanese was a crispy, tender cutlet with a refreshing salad. The Chicken Parmesan featured a perfectly fried chicken breast with delicious sauce. One of the specials for the evening was the Cheesesteak sandwich which was a hearty and flavorful standout with tender steak and melted cheese on a crusty roll. Overall, Hoexter's delivers a warm atmosphere and well-executed, comforting meals.

   We always enjoy the food and cocktails ...and tried the Philly Cheesesteak speacial...tasty and as good as the burger but should be priced the same...not easy to think a sandwich special at dinner would be $42 ...so just be aware... we did not ask and it seems high. Will be back ..but will ask about $ on specials...

   Was Easter, but not packed.. 2nd visit.. we find food fair, service spotty., our waitress was lovely.. but multiple people came back 5 times, to take our plates., after not even 1hr and 15min since we sat down, so they could reset for dinner. Between very average food, and being rushed, with 6 other tables still full.. can’t find a reason for a 3rd visit.

   Fantastic dinner! Food and drinks were on point- especially the burger, salmon, and gorgonzola garlic bread. Service was attentive, efficient, and friendly. The team really made our anniversary special. We loved the vibe. It’s a familiar but unique restaurant. We can’t wait to come back.

   One of my new favorite spots. The food was and service was amazing. This is definitely a great spot for a night with friends or a date night. Loved it.

    Lovely neighborhood gem. Food is crazy good. We had the roast chicken and branzino, gem salad - it was all excellent! The wait staff was terrific and attentive. It was a little noisy and strangely chilly - but beyond that perfect. Will go back often!
