When we decided to open a new restaurant in Providence, we wanted to do something really different. Something that Providence hasn't seen before. Out of that idea, High Tides Island Grille and Tiki Bar was born. With more than 25 rums to try, traditional and signature craft cocktails and an island inspired food menu, there's something for everyone! Our unique space is also great for birthday celebrations, rehearsal dinners and office outings.

It was amazing. From the absolutely awesome waitress that was very personable and attentive to the delicious food that’s authenticity made me think I was back home on the islands and rum to go with it. I don’t have a single critique, only compliments. We will definitely be back, frequently ☺️

We were meeting friends for dinner and arrived a bit before them. We were immediately seated at a booth in the back and that’s when all “service” was thrown out the window. Our friends arrive 10 minutes later. We then waited for another 15 before finally the bartender came over to take our order. We were getting a little “antsy” but figured cocktails would change the mood. We ordered the giant punch bowl for the table... along with nachos and wings. The punch bowl was a great size for the group, but they gave us standard straws that didn’t reach the middle of the table, so we spent the whole meal pushing the bowl around the table. Awwwwkward! Our apps arrived via hostess a short time later. The wings were good & I must say the nachos were super tasty. We finished those up and we waited, waited, waited and were just getting ready to find a check when finally the poor bartender schlepped across the room to take our entree order. The dinner were okay. Fish tacos, mahi-mahi & Bahn mi sandwiches rounded out the meals. Not bad, not great, just meh. We had no water, no napkins, an empty punch bowl and NO waiter. There were at least two other waitresses, a hostess and a manager working, however service was ridiculously unorganized and slow. Checked it off the “been there, done that” list. We won’t be back.

It was a great place to accommodate our table of 8!! The food was yummy and the drinks were fantastic!!!! The server was so nice and recognized my sister and her fiancé and treated us like family!!

Yes, it wasn't a good nite...there was a Halloween pub crawl with costumes and only (1) waitress to serve at least 12 parties of 2 to 4 to 6 patrons. We waited 20 minutes for our cocktails to arrive after complaining. The AC was blowing on my wife, she was freezing, and we asked for it to be turned down or shut off. Waitress said it would be turned off. High Tides came highly regarded but I would probably only return with a couple of guys on motorcycles for a refreshment or two..but not for a romantic dinner.

We enjoyed our dinner, the food was great! Our waitress Erin was so energetic and the best helper with food decisions😍 We will be back very soon for sure!

Can’t wait to go again. Nice selection of rum and tiki drinks. We had a great burger and Cuban sandwich. Everyone made us feel real welcomed there.

I would have left the survey rating blank but it would not let me. We did not keep our reservation because they called and said the kitchen would be closed when we should arrive at 7:00 pm. I wish we would have had the opportunity to try it but I can't actually give a rating.
