Booked for my daughter’s birthday along with seeing a show. We were served our food 3-4 minutes after we ordered it. My daughter’s pasta was cold with one hot spot in the middle. My chips were cold and dry, and the veggie burger was lukewarm. The only thing that felt fresh was the lettuce. Service was ok. But the food was a real let down.

Arrived with a reservation for 5pm for pre theatre. Who I can only presume was the manager took us to our table pretty much wordless, threw the menus on the table and said “I need it back by 6.15” and walked off. Thankfully we didn’t have to deal with him again and our server was so lovely and helpful. I got the wings & sweet potato wedges which were lovely. My husband got the burger and said it was dry and the bread tasted stale. I got an espresso martini and it was only ok - not the best I’ve had. It was a handy spot for dinner before a show in BGET but next time I think I’ll be going elsewhere. Manager also needs some training - I can’t imagine it’s the nicest environment to work in if that’s the way the manager speaks to customers.

Having read some good reviews on opentable, I was excited to treat my friend to a pre show meal. We ordered mains and sides. The "truffle fries" were totally cold, hard and certainly didnt seem homemade. Despite high hunger, my friend left 95% of them after her. The veggie burger was simply not enjoyable. I asked for a slice of cheese which wasnt even melted nto the burger. The bun was hard and despite being toasted, it was stone cold. I was so disappointed. €60.50 for 2 mains 1 side and 1 glass of wine for what was a very unenjoyable meal. Despite this, the service, ambiance and decor were all 10/10.

Service not the best. Drinks arrived after the food was served. Manager stretched over people to hand them the plate of food. Food was enjoyable.

Its a good standard bistro. Fair bit of choice and not too long of a wait. Good if you're heading over to the Bord Gais.
