About this restaurant

  • Great for creative cocktails
  • Great for happy hour
  • Vegetarian-friendly
The decor of Herb & Bitter Public House is a fusion of modern and vintage elements, taking large consideration in using salvaged building materials, antiques and contemporary raw building supplies. A year-round retractable glass conservatory covers the 1000 square foot patio. String lighting illuminates the European café style setting.
The comprehensive spirits program is progressive and centered around Italian Amari. The overall menu concept is diverse and eclectic with seasonal plates . We incorporate many cuisines and world flavors into dishes that are house-made with as many local, and sustainable ingredients as possible; taking into consideration dietary needs such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan.

Relaxed, warm atmosphere and beautiful bar when walking in. Greeted and sat immediately by very attentive wait person. Started with special, creative cocktails that were impressively delicious. Enjoyed two shared appetizers- papas brava and hummus plate. Entrees included the risotto and the pasta- both awesome. Highly recommended for the entire experience.

Honestly the food was way too salty, we had to send a few things back. And our server made rude/inappropriate comments about the clothes my friends were wearing. Overall was not the best experience but it was my first time there and I’d be willing to try again.

Excellent food, great drinks. They have seasonal menus. I had the pumpkin puree gnocchi it was excellent. I had a manhattan (perfection) and a whiskey drink Nick recommended, which was also great. Strongly recommended!

Excellent service and food. Cocktails were creative and the beer on tap was great. The tiger prawn risotto was a bit salty. Our service took it away and brought a new one which was just right. And he said I took off a couple of drinks from your menu. Will definitely go back to try other items. Only warning is the parking in the area. The small lot we parked at charges $25 plus tax. Find street parking if you can.

we were in the restaurant for 45 minutes before we got any food at all. ffs, if the kitchen is taking that long, at least bring us bread. the food we eventually got was overly salty and not that good. it was okay and we ate it. that pretty much sums it up. i thought making a reservation for 90 minutes before a concert five minutes away would leave us with plenty of time, but we arrived at the venue ten minutes before the concert start time.
