   We live in NYC where is plenty of good restaurants but every couple of months we like to visit mr. Robert Pollock's Buttermilk Falls Inn and spend a couple of days "away from everything" on the farm, walk with our dogs and get some nice massages as well as everything goes with. The killer is "farm-to-table" breakfast served every morning which will keep you going for the rest of the day. We always finish our day with few drinks and a dinner at Henry's restaurant. I am pretty sure there are some other good restaurants near by but the convenience and family atmosphere at Henry's are something money can't buy. Javier, the bartender with my favourite Manhattan with local Hudson baby Bourbon and friendly chat gives something we don't get in the city. Annemarie, the manager and server will do everything to satisfy the pickiest guest. Sometimes we would go for a fancier meal such as a seafood or duck but sometimes we would order just a simple dish as hamburger. Everything is always freshly made and prepared as requested. One of very basic meals Annemarie recently introduced to the menu is simple chicken parmigiana with pesto pasta. Something I would probably not order at that type of establishment but up at Henry's works just perfect. Annemarie will also suggest warm berry cobbler and nice port to finish wonderful experience. Way to go Robert, Annemarie and Javier. Every time we come is getting better and better and we are looking forward into newest additions and will see you in fall. Thanks again. Marlon and Ned.

   Went for Father's day brunch ,nothing great offered as a special if not for the company would have just been ok.

   I made Father's Day reservations for their brunch,which though it was Ala-Carte none the less was very good. Henry's is a farm to table style restaurant with an ecletic menu. We chose from the Breakfast menu items like Bannas Foster French Toast,with real maple syrup,Belgian waffles with fresh Blueberries and dollops of fresh whipped cream. Chicken and waffles with maple syrup. these were accompanied by Blood orange Mimosa's. Finished up with coffee and dishes of delicious ice cream. A really pleasant experience.

   Really enjoyed our dinner and time. Was hopping for more of an outdoor patio location but that did not work, and the indoors was a little noisy but that is all. Food was great, service was good.

   My card was fraudulently charged an over charge of $45! I have my receipt. This has caused me great stress as I am now in extreme risk of overdraft from my checking account, as this was my "debit/"credit" card that pulls from that account. When my utility bill hits on Monday, I will overdraft. I called 3 times to have this corrected and no success. Just keep being told no one can help me and to wait or call back later. This is an outrage and I feel like I was robbed. I will be submitting a dispute at my bank and I will be seeking payment from Henry's for all overdraft fees, as well as a Letter of Explanation to my bank and to Central Hudson G & E.

   Fantastic service and ambiance. We celebrated a wonderful 2nd anniversary together with an equally wonderful dinner.

    Actually the only thing that was lacking in any way was the bread! It was a small, rather boring roll. Other than that, the food there is always inventive and delicious. Ate on the porch. Perfect evening. And we love just being there.
