   Great place for lunch. Nice and pleasant not noisy like some places, you can actually hear the person across the table from you talking, what a treat. Food and service always great.

   Hi...my friends and I go out once a month for lunch.. but we found Helio's food bland,, 5 out of 6 of us had the gyro with salad, greek salad was boring, tomatoes mushy, the one friend had fettucini and she really liked it. One of our friends has been prior and enjoyed it but we all found this time the food was nothing i'd rush back for .. Sorry for poor comments but we do eat often and usually have good food around Winnipeg.

   The food was not very good and when I said something I was told it was an acquired taste. Not what I had hoped for or expected for $110 with a tip for the 2 of us. I will not recommend nor will I be back. I will also share my experience with Trip Advisor.

   The service was absolutely wonderful! Food was outstanding and I will definitely recommend Helios to friends and family.

   Great food. Everything was perfect. Had table prepared as per online booking info. We will be back!

   There isn't a thing about Helios I would change. The restaurant is nicely appointed, the washrooms are clean and provide some niceties like a hook for your purse and a big mirror ;)) And most of all, the food is wonderful and the service is excellent. My only caution is: the dinners are large. Bring your appetite, or like us, you won't be able to enjoy the dessert...baklava, of course and pie. Did I mention the Greek soup is excellent.

   I went with 3 girlfriends and myself. We all enjoyed our food. One had the chicken souvlaki in a pita, another fettucine alfredo, another moussaka and myself chicken souvlaki (2 skewers came with it). Portions generous and 3 of us took leftover homes. The greek salad could have had more feta and olives (2 olives per salad). I could have used more tzatziki sauce and noticed that there was an additional charge for more tzatziki sauce. Other reviews said the souvlaki was not tasty however it was moist although could use a bit more spice. I enjoyed it though! Environment was quiet on a Sunday evening and service good. Overall, everyone said they enjoyed the food. Food was slightly expensive. Parking is limited so if the restaurant was full there would likely not be enough parking.
