   Second time at Helen in the Heights, this time for NYE. Great options for my Vegetarian partner, things we can share and great meat options for me. Service is great with good guidance on ordering the right amount of small plates to share. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced in a warm, relaxing and casual atmosphere.

   The food was excellent. I had the scallops and my husband ordered the lamb. Both were delicious. For dessert we ordered the custard pie which can best be described as custard wrapped in philo pastry with huckleberry on top. Very unique and I will go back again just for this dessert. We were confused as to the etiquette. We did not know if we were supposed to share our food or just eat what was served. The atmosphere was very intimate but a bit noisy. We will go back again.

   Great food, great atmosphere. There were four of us and we shared the stuffed branzino fish. It was AMAZING! I strongly recommend it.

   Food was absolutely delicious here. A group of 4 of us started with the hummus, which is probably the best I’ve ever had. Then had the baked feta, the greens and cheese pie, and lastly the gyro platter. It just seemed like things got increasingly more delicious. With the exception of the gyro platter, all of these dishes are small- the menu advises of that.

   We sat outside, so the noise level was less. In the past, it is very loud when busy. Waitress and manager were fun, food was good, nice place!

   This place never disappoints the service is always fantastic, drinks are wonderful and the food is spectacular !!

   The food was delicious! I loved the family style where everyone shared each dish. The only sour part of our evening was when we ordered a glass of wine at the end of our meal and the drinks never came, so we cancelled it. Otherwise, the atmosphere was really nice and the food was great. Nice waiter. We will be back.
