The food was nice although my partner had to send his back so we ate at different times. The service was not good at all though. Charged me different prices for the same drinks claiming they ran out of the one I had and replaced it with one £2.50 more expensive without mentioning it. the breakfast food had ran out so waiting around for it to be replaced. Table hadn't been cleaned neither.

Great family meal to celebrate a birthday. Food very good and staff could not do enough for us. We were not rushed and the kitchen produced special dessert with no notice. We will be back.

The Beef was melt in the mouth & the gravy delicious - could have done with being a bit hotter & there was a very long time between courses.

Although food was good they are very disorganised with very slow service for drinks. I tried to ring them prior to our booking to confirm something I left 2 messages and no one returned my call. We were told cocktails were included in our afternoon tea, then told they were not. We could have had 4 x afternoon tea for £0 which the bill showed. I did question it & it was corrected. Good leadership required.

Staff very friendly. Staff couldn't do enough for us. My 5 & 6 year old were entertained with colouring pencils & puzzles. Great Mother's Day.

Fantastic service, brilliant staff and beautiful setting. Easy access to hotel from car park (no hill trekking for us). Will definately be back again soon!

Not a particularly special valentines meal. Starters ( Black pudding non bins and Duck breast) were good and served reasonably quickly but service and quality rapidly went downhill after that. Had to wait over 45 mins for a main course.. told it was on its way and was backed up because of room service orders! Ten minutes later still no mains (Beef and Reef and a rump steak). Everyone else who came in after us had been served so we'd blatantly been forgotten about. Food when it arrived was ok but not fantastic for the price being charged. Food arrived too late for us to enjoy a dessert. Spoiled a potentially good valentines night out
