    If you are at the JW go elsewhere to dine. Mostly everything was bad. Getting seated with a reservation was a challenge. The initial table was so dirty we changed locations. The food took an unusual amount of time to be prepared especially given the baked potato wasn’t cooked through. Steak was decent but for price point we would have expected better. French onion soup seemed to be heavily salted. Service was mediocre at best. We thought that basically everyone there didn’t know what they were doing or suppose to be doing.

    Great service but for the price, the food just wasn’t that good. I wish they would invest in this property more it has a lot of potential.

    We thought the Hawthorne Grill was so good. The food and ambience were great. Service was a little slow, but reasonable. The food prices seemed a little steep.

    After visiting Hawthorne Grill, a number of times, I found out that seasonally they change menus depending on the season. The weight staff was great and the ambience was acceptable for having the number of patrons that they had, I was just a little disappointed with the choices on the menu. The menu this season seems to lack, although the choices that we made were cooked quite well. Mabe check the menu before visiting, I was hoping and craving something that was apparently on last season’s menu. Overall an very nice establishment and worth a visit.

    French onion soup is outstanding. Crab cake was excellent(had them leave the poached egg off). Filet was tender, baked potato was large enough to share. Service is always friendly and excellent.
