   Excellent service but steak slightly over cooked. Considering how busy it was the staff were excellent

   I have been a couple of times to this location, plus to others in the chain. Food always consistent and good. This is the first time however I felt chased out of the restaurant. As soon as dessert was finished and coffee declined, the bill was placed on the table in a matter of seconds. Seconds later the waitress appeared with a credit card machine, no discussion, no sense of a seat at the bar, it was time to leave! I understand the demands on time and the need to turnaround settings, but for a premium priced restaurant this poor service left a sub optimal impression.

   Overall, it's a great experience, and I think I will go there again to enjoy the steak soon! The sirloin and fillets are highly recommended. We enjoyed them both medium-rare; it was perfect. I can't fault the fries, salad, peppercorn sauce and white and red wine; it's excellent! However, the six natural oysters we had ordered were not satisfactory, as they were too salty (I know it was a very subjective comment), and we found some shell pieces in two of them. The bone marrow is too ordinary; the CP value is low. The waiter and waitresses are very nice, friendly and helpful. And thank you for the generous gift of delicious chocolate to mark the end of our anniversary lunch. (lunch meal, ard. 230 for 2)

   Been here a couple of years ago, experience was lovely, waiters were attentive and food was quality. It’s fallen from grace since. Servers were lost, hard to get ahold of, and an ever turning roundabout. Food was mediocre, underseasoned and felt like it was lying under a heatlamp before serving. Porterhouse was a tough chew on most sides apart from the middle. Potatoes inedible. Veg anaemic. For £500 between 4, I’d have had twice as much at Blacklock and even then they’d have seasoned their food.

   Came for Sunday roast with my husband. Staff was friendly, service was timely, and the roast beef & gravy were good but not sure if the potato skin was supposed to be so stiff that the potatoes rolled off both of our plates :\ apparently this is how it’s done but the overall experience was okay. Likely won’t return.

   We visited Hawksmoor Air Street for Sunday roast on Easter. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We ordered the Sunday Feasting for Two with the Chateaubriand and slow roast rump—both were just okay, nothing particularly memorable. For dessert, we had the sticky toffee pudding, which was the highlight of the meal and quite good. Overall, a decent experience, but the food didn’t quite live up to the hype.
