   Others have commented about weak-flavored broths, and they're generally correct, however, the premise of hot pot/shabu-shabu is that the additional flavors come from the side dishes of your choice: meats, seafood, veges, etc. The sauce bar adds yet another "customizable" dimension to your meal, so if there's still a belief that the broth is weak (after the meal), the "weakness" lies in the side dishes and sauces that were chosen. For an appetizer, I recommend trying the rock shrimp salad - lots of crispy rock shrimp w/ a sweet, asian dressing. All said, as far as hot pot places go, this one's a bit pricey.

   They have a daily buffet which includes a personal soup pot with your choice of soup andyou can choose anything from the conveyor belt that goes around the tables... soft drinks are refillable and only $1!!!

   Had to try it just because it was buffet style for lunch. We tried the miso & spicy broths. Everything on the conveyor belt is included in the price but anything off the menu (sliced meats, appetizers, drinks, rice) is additional charges. They will refill the broths and they also have a dipping sauce bar. I did realize that they won't take Open Table reservations for a party larger than 4 people. I had to call in for my follow up visit with a party of 9, so no points earned on my 2nd visit. On the belt they have all kinds of veggies, shrimp, clams, mussels, gyoza, shumai, fish cake, tofu, mochi, noodles (ramen, udon & glass/rice), sausages, imitation crab, sliced fish & meatballs. Some stuff I had to ask them to identify, but it was definitely a nice selection of stuff. I will be back for lunch again & again! and it's BYOB!

   If you've never tried hot-pot or have and enjoy it, this restaurant is worth a try! We have a great time trying new items and the staff were very helpful. The prices are reasonable and they have free valet parking.
