Havana es reconocido como un lugar muy popular en East Bay en donde el comensal puede disfrutar de la gastronomía al estilo de Cuba y California, además de más de una docena de diferentes mojitos. La decoración tiene sin lugar a dudas la inspiración de South Beach en Miami, pues presenta grandes fotografías con escenas de las calles de Cuba en sus muros. Entre algunos de los platillos destacados se encuentran la paella, el bacalao del Pacífico con corteza de plátano y salsa de aguacate y tomatillo, el lomo de cerdo salpicado con ajo y salsa mojo (con pimienta, ajo y otros condimentos), así como la arrachera al chimichurri. Si tiene antojo de tapas, en Havana podrá encontrar empanadas, croquetas, sándwiches cubanos y ceviche. Los lunes durante todo el día y la noche ofrece mojitos a mitad de precio y a partir de las 17:00 presenta especiales de tapas a 5 USD. We came here with a group of 16 for my graduation. They seated us about 20 minutes after our reservation, but they let us sit at the bar until our table was ready. The food was excellent and well worth its price. The Paella and scallops are some of the best things on the menu. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

It had been a few years since I had the opportunity to dine at Havana. The food was as good as I remembered. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. We had tapa and drinks before going to the theater - great spot to do so.

This is my second time here and service has always been outstanding. Waiters are friendly and very helpful. On my other visit, there was a problem with the service and they immediately apologized and we were given a complimentary appetizer. On this visit, Charles was very helpful in recommending food to eat and choices for a rum flight. I had the cod and it was cooked to perfection and I especially loved the corn that came with it. My sister-in-law always orders the scallops because they are always flavorful and cooked just right. Of course, you have to order a mojito. There are many choices, but I always pick a fruity one. I got the blood orange and pineapple mojito this time and it was quite yummy and I probably could have ordered a couple more! Music is a little loud but it goes with the atmosphere of the place. I would definitely go back.

Went with friends before a show. Had no problem getting reservations, which we made for two hours before the show and we needed it. Table was ready right away. Servers were fun and friendly, but the meals came out so staggered that some people were completely done with dinner before others even got their meals. They did apologize and gave us $10 off the next meal, but there was no excuse. They were busy, but should not have been overwhelmed. Food was good, but not great. They are known for their mojitos and they were very good.

Love Mojito Monday at Havana! Half price mojitos and special $5 tapas make for a fun week night outing. Great service and always fun.

Monday specials are always interesting. Half-price mojitos as well. We go on Mondays for that reason.
