   The restaurant was closed. It looked abandoned. We called and could hear the phone ringing inside.

   Chef Lala (Resident Chef on Saturdays & Tuesdays) was on point ! The flavors were impeccable and methodically thought out. Not too much of this or not enough of that ( I LOVE BALANCE ). Do yourself a favor and try what calls your name, but don’t miss out on the super fresh beignets at the end. You won’t be disappointed.

   I have been to this restaurant for the past three weekends. The last time I went. I wasn’t sure of the amount of people that was going. I booked one reservation for two and then later on had to book a reservation for three. The hostess was very sweet And ended up taking care of me so I wasn’t charged for a cancellation. I went on a Saturday, and I also went on a Sunday. Both chefs are killing it and the drinks aren’t bad either. I definitely recommend going. The area is safe for parking, the ambience is cool, the host are genuine and sweet and it’s just a damn good time. A little hidden gem in Oakland, that I will frequent quite often.

   Food was good. Fish and grits. 🙌🏾 if I return it will be alone. Music is played at loud volume. Couldn’t hear my family talk. Weak drinks from the bar.
