To celebrate the Nation’s passion for Easter Eggs and to showcase their new Own Brand range, Tesco is unveiling ‘Hatch’—an exclusive, one-day-only chocolate tasting experience, for grown-ups.

For one day only, explore temperature, texture, taste, and construction in a multi-sensory gourmet experience. Guided by world-renowned chocolatier and author Chantal Coady OBE, this exclusive event transports you through the science, artistry, and sheer pleasure of the perfect Easter egg.

Guests will enjoy a series of indulgent courses, enhanced by interactive moments, including an egg-cracking ceremony featuring the new Tesco Finest Cote D’Ivoire 47% Orange Dark Chocolate Egg.

Each guest will also receive an exclusive goodie bag brimming with handpicked delights—so the magic of Hatch can continue long after the last bite.

60-minute sittings: 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 5:30pm

All proceeds from Hatch by Tesco will go to Tesco’s charity partner, Trussell.

This multi-sensory tasting session will have guests explore taste, texture and temperature, during a three-course chocolate experience.

Easter Egg Tasting Experience

Guests will enjoy a series of indulgent courses, enhanced by interactive moments, including an egg-cracking ceremony featuring the new Tesco Finest Cote D’Ivoire 47% Orange Dark Chocolate Egg.

Each course complimented by a delicious cocktail pairing (non-alcoholic options also available). Guests attending the 10.30am session will be served a mocktail-only menu.

What a fantastic, immersive experience! I had so much fun trying things I would never, ever have ordered (but ended up loving- watermelon, radish, cucumber and white chocolate salad anyone?!) From start to finish the event was top notch, then they topped it off with a jam (or rather chocolate) packed goody bag!

This one day pop up experience was absolutely fantastic. Well done Tesco! The hosts and serving staff were amazing and it was such an informative and delicious experience. And the goody bag at the end was so generous. Thank you Tesco. I had a lovely evening with my daughter and daughter in law.

Dear Sirs, Just had to write a few words to say Thank you.... what a wonderfully extravagant event! Loved everything about Hatch: the styling chocolate coloured flowers, the photo booth, the goody bag not to mention the sensational tasting experience beautifully curated by responsive and knowledgeable staff. Yes, and a host with a Chocolate OBE! Should you host any other events like this.. kindly let me know...I would travel, Scotland for blackberries not a problem! Kind regards,

Lovely joyful experience had by all present. Staff were professional and friendly, and always ready to cater to the customers needs. The food and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was great, and relaxing. I will definitely recommend Hatch to others.
