   Having booked a table using your App, the restaurant had no knowledge of our booking which was extremely disappointing. I did show the manager the booking confirmation but did not have any difference, we still had to wait for a table to come free. Which took about 10 minutes. The table was just off the main foyer which was also disappointing as it was my daughter’s birthday. We basically seated in a busy crossway of people walking in and out of this restaurant. The manager tried to placate us by giving us the desert on the house but in any event it did spoil a very special occasion. I will not be going back anytime soon nor use your app that basically does not work.

   we have visited the Talbot on quite a few occasions now and every time the staff are pleasant organised and prompt with their service. The food is prepared quickly and is delivered piping hot (unlike some other Harvester's !!) Well done - our daughter lives in Ongar and we will be sure to visit the Talbot again.

   Staff very friendly and helpful. Food not too good. Toilet facilities poor.
