   Although the food ordered was good, the service was a little poor. It would appear that this restaurant needed to supply a sister restaurant in Gloucester, with both cooking and service staff, which meant our meal took far longer than expected. Cannot fault the remaining staff, but this had a big impact on how the evening progressed.

   the food was fair but could have been presented better, it lacked that special touch when you go out to dine. the salad bar has defenatly been cut back from previous visits.

   We went to the Snuff Mills for a change. When we arrived it was chaos! The booking system was down, we were given a table straight away, and told the waitress would be over to take a drinks order. We waited & waited & waited. In the meantime we heard the staff talking amongst themselves about who was working which tables, it sounded abit heated. Eventually after 25 minutes a guy came over and apologised for staffing issues. We eventually got our drinks and meal which was lovely.

   I was not very impressed with waiting for a table For 20 minutes after the time I had booked it for in advance. I understand that it can be busy and sometimes a wait can be helped, but this could have. When arriving at harvester, I advised the guy seating people of my booking, to which I was asked to wait a few minutes. Because of this I took a seat in the waiting area. After waiting for a further 20-30 mins and being walked past multiple times by this member of staff, I then went back to him and asked why it was taking so long, as people were being seated straight away on arrival. After asking this, I was told by the member of staff, that he had thought we had left (which is a complete lie, as he looked at us multiple times when we were waiting). I then told the member of staff that we had been sat right by him and his attitude was very rude towards blaming us for 'not letting him know sooner'. I'm sorry, but it isn't my job to keep hassling you for a table that I have already asked you for and booked in advance. The reason I also know this is a lie from the member of staff, is because when I approached him the second time, it was like it was the first time he had seen me (You think this would have rejigged his memory). As if this wasn't bad enough, I also heard this member of staff speaking to his colleagues about this, when we stiff directly behind him. Overall I feel this is very bad customer service.

   Was really nice, food was really good quality, service was incredibly fast and staff were really nice. This place has improved dramatically, will definitely visit again soon

   good food, good service excellent value as always we use snuff mills about once a month
