   Cheap and cheerful in a bland atmosphere, this is what it is. Although the normal menu has had a price hike in the last few months making it not quite so cheap. I was here with 2 colleagues and we all had the Xmas menu, which wasn't bad considering it is all pre packaged etc. The help yourself salad bar has improved a lot since the menu change and is better set out with lots of sauces and bits and pieces. However the whole place still gives the impression of being a family venue. I recommend it only for run of the mill meals where you know what you get.

   We always enjoy our visits. The food is plentiful and we usually eat too much even though quite a lot is salad. The staff are friendly and everything is clean and tidy.

   Generally it's not too bad here, but on this occasion the staff seemed stressed, took over thirty minutes for the mains to arrive and when they did the chicken was extremely dry (usually not anywhere near this bad). We noted that food was being left on the counter for long durations whilst the staff ran around trying to appease people. One family nearby walked out without paying as they were so disgusted by the way the food tasted. Normally we're quite happy based on the price that you pay, but this time even the fact that the Harvester is generally cheap it shouldn't be this bad. We hope it's just a one off... has made us think twice about returning.
