   We’ve eaten at Harriet’s in other cities and loved it so we were expecting another great experience. However the food here was sooo bad we were shocked. We ordered sushi rolls that had lumps of uncooked rice, And chicken slider buns were stale as can be. It’s a beautiful rooftop and the view is amazing so a great place for drinks, just skip the food.

   The first host stand gave me and my boyfriend dirty looks the entire time they were checking our IDs, then the actual host says we’re early and can seat us closer to our reservation time which is totally fine. We wait by the bar for 15 minutes, then the hostess comes and seats us at a table that had been open the entire time we were there. When we wanted to order, we eat got a sushi roll and one appetizer, but our waitress walked away before my boyfriend could order his drink and he had to call her back over. We get our food out and it looks amazing. Until I find a hair in my sushi roll. Not even like a ‘couldve been my hair that fell out’ situation. Its fully rolled IN THE SUSHI. I stop eating immediately and wait for our waitress to take my dish back. While I’m waiting, I see ANOTHER HAIR in the sauce on the place. At this point I dont want them to remake the dish and Ive been waiting for quite a while for a waitress to come back. My boyfriend had to call a busser over to ask for our waitress even though she was standing with her coworkers next to the bar not doing anything. She apologized and took my dish back, asked if she could replace it but at that point I’m grossed out and just kind of want to leave. Then, the manager or the owner comes up and apologizes for the inconvenience and tells us the meal was comped besides the drink that my boyfriend ordered, which was nice and unexpected. It took another 15 minutes for us to get the check. Both tables next to us were getting round after round brought out while we had to wait an absurd amount of time. This visit comes months after our original reservation was cancelled the day before for a private event, so I was already kind of skeptical about coming here. The only good thing about this place was the view. Unless you plan on getting black out drunk and not eating anything, dont come here. I’m not one to write reviews, let alone bad ones, but Harriets guests should see every side of the customer service :(

   I wanted to share a recent experience my husband and I had at Harriet's on the evening of March 8, 2025, during our stay at the 1 West Hollywood Hotel. We checked into the hotel around 5:30 p.m. and, after settling in, decided to visit Harriet’s. Knowing we didn't have a reservation, we were happy to have a drink at the bar. However, after ordering, we noticed several open seating areas and asked the hostess, Kat, if there were any cancellations or last-minute openings. She informed us that there were no available tables. We decided to grab a drink in the lobby but, while doing so, noticed on OpenTable that a reservation for 7:30 p.m. had become available. We quickly booked it. When we returned, we were seated promptly, and the service was great initially. We ordered food and drinks, and our waitress checked on us. When she inquired if we were ready to settle the bill or wanted another round, we told her we’d likely order another drink. She said that was no problem and would return shortly to check on us again. However, about five minutes later, Kat came to our table and informed us that we needed to vacate our table because we had been seated for 1.5 hours, which was the maximum time allowed. This was frustrating, especially considering that there were several other open tables nearby. When we mentioned that our waitress had just checked in with us and was expected to return, Kat responded in a patronizing manner. Feeling uncomfortable, we decided to ask for our check. While waiting for the check, I checked OpenTable again and saw a 9:00 p.m. reservation was available. I called Kat over to offer some feedback, suggesting that guests should be informed at the time of seating that they have a 1.5-hour time limit. I also recommended that all wait staff be made aware of this policy. I showed her that I was able to extend the reservation on OpenTable, but she told me in a curt and patronizing manner that she could override it. Overall, rude and classless.

   Sunset reso is best. Otherwise it’s not worth it to get food. Drinks were good though.

   The host sat us only for the waiter to tell us the kitchen was closed earlier before our reservation time!!

   Music needs to be turned down to ambiance level during dinner hours couldn't hear the waitress or person next to me. Also the waitresses are more likely models than servers and suck at their job.

   Food was great, amazing DJ and our server Brooke J. was friendly and attentive. Had the Korean short ribs and wife had the tiger rolls both were really tasty. Great experience overall will definitely be back

   The servers are so sweet always, great DJs, one of the best views in LA & I love the security guard with the ponytail. I hate that I don’t remember his name but he’s always so kind to me and my sister when we come in 🤍

   My friend who I was meeting was unable to valet due to the valet being full , I waited 40 minutes and as he had a broken toe he could not walk super far. Therefore after one drink and both waiting forever for the valet to open up we decided to leave. It was 8pm, strange to have a full valet and no one that's able to help so early in the night.

    The place is managing the concept wrong . 7:30pm , 3 tables and the dj is blasting electronic music so loud you can’t hear each other or the server . Server was probably a bottle server as she gave the impression to be disinterested we were ordering dinner . Drinks took a long time , had to ask for water. Had to waive down 3 service staff to order a drink and then got a lecture not to place orders with the Busser . Wouldn’t recommend but the food was good . Disappointing for a 1 hotel property .
