   Took my wife there for her birthday. Service was great, food was incredible. One of the nicest restaurants we have found in Richmond.

   The recent dining experience in February 2018 was the worst that I have encountered in decades. The staff was poorly trained, it took over 40 minutes to get an appetizer, then 20 mins to get a simple salad which was the wrong salad . We met with manager who had no solutions. We left after 1 hour 30 minutes with no maincourse. It ruined a evening of theater at EKU . I would highly recommend that all Opentable folks avoid this restaurant. Terribly unprofessional and poorly organized .

   A group of us went on a Saturday night for dinner. Four of us ordered the prime rib, medium rare. After waiting 30 minutes or longer for our entrees, the Prime Rib was brought out. It was thinly sliced, and well done. We returned the entrees due to it not being prepared to our order. The restaurant did subtract the entrees from our bill which we appreciated but left the restaurant hungry. We were informed the chef had resigned and a 17 year old was responsible for the meal preparation. Such a shame as the restaurant is very nice inside and had previously been very good.

   Food was sub par and everone’s baked potatoes were undercooked. Quality of food was low and the prices were high.

   I usually love Hanger’s… I reserved a table for seven of us… Our waitress was way over extended. I know it’s the holiday season, however she was flustered the entire time . She was busy ! We received our soup, salad literally one minute before our dinner entrée. We were halfway through dinner, when she brought bread, after requesting. Several small details fell in the cracks, lemon for water, butter & more. Two of us ended up not even eating our soup, which was tomato bisque (my favorite). When brought to her attention… It was ice cold… She didn’t even offer to take it off our check We had to request drink refills over and over. We were overcharged for drinks, she did correct. Did apologize, several times, however… It was a celebratory event. It would have been nice not to have the interruptions/constant correction I couple of my guest for first timers… They were not impressed !

   We chose Hangars for our office Christmas Party. The decor was AMAZING!! The service was less than good. The waiter was not friendly at all. The food was bland & most of the chicken was burnt. Sadly, we will not be returning for future occasions.
