   No frills, but very solid Turkish food. Thoughtful and caring staff, and very reasonable priced. It's my go-to neighborhood place!

   The iskendar lamb kabob and whole grilled branzino with rice and zucchini more than satisfied our cravings for home-cooked Turkish cuisine. The accompanying lofty, chewy bread was the perfect accompaniment. We were only sorry that the hors d'oeuvres and wine from a reception earlier in the evening made us indisposed to enjoy a Turkish wine or dessert with our meal. Thank you, Hanci!

   Delicious and fresh! This small attractive restaurant has helpful and charming service. Try the special of the day and the Turkish wine and beer too. The appetizers are excellent. Incredible value! Can't wait to go back!!

   We came in late. We were traveling from DC to NYC for the weekend and looked up this place. It was authentic and delicious. The owners were very nice and friendly. I will go here again when in in NY.

   We have been eating at Hanci for several years on a regular basis. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is homey and attentive. It's hard to find better Turkish food in NYC!

   The waitress was lovely but when I asked if they had a specific Turkish dish the owner/manager, who was seated at a table doing paperwork, was very rude in answering. The food was run of the mill. Nothing special at all.

   Loved the smoked eggplant, and the mixed meat plate - all very delicious. Excellent Turkish cuisine.

   We love Hanci. The people who own/operate this restaurant are delightful. We were there on Saturday night and had a fantastic meal (Kofte is awesome!). The wines are very reasonably priced, and the desserts...!!!...the shredded wheat w/ mozzarella and honey. OH MY! So good!

   Very good Turkish food which tastes like home to all my Turkish Friends I have taken there. Small and a bit out of the way on 10th Avenue which makes it a real find. I usually have multiple appetizers and share an entry (the mix grill) with up to three people.

    Friendly, professional service. The staff was happy that we were there and inquired several times if we needed anything. Food very tasty and fresh. Price reasonable. I would recommend for good food and good value when attending Lincoln Center events.
