   Had high hopes for this place based on a recommendation from a friend. Was incredibly let down when ordering the burrata dish that I was given seaweed flavoured sakata crackers. (As I am celiac) Normally at a place with this price range you would expect a gluten free house made load of bread. Or and attempt at something for people who are gluten free. Especially when your bill is around $250 for two people. Fish was ok.. but dry but the mussels where very yummy. The desert was good and the entrees need work. Very overpriced and overrated for what we got. Probably wouldn’t go here again and wouldn’t be recommending this place either. The waitress was lovely though.

   Food was exceptional! Service was attentive and the staff were friendly and polite x Thoroughly enjoyed our night at Hampden Bar and Bistro!

   Delicious food, wonderful attentive service it doesn’t get much better than this. We will be back for sure

   Beautiful place in the picturesque Battery park area. I enjoyed the scotch fillet with truffle bearnaise, truffle mash, salad, and a lovely glass of Pinot noir. Great food, great service, would definitely return.

   Fantastic little restaurant with great ambience and service. We will be back on the next visit to Tassie for sure.

   We had a beautiful birthday celebration. The food was delicious - none of our party of 5 were disappointed. The service was great - just the right amount of attention. We would definitely go back.

   Great venue for dinner. Lovely food and a wide range of wines. Service was warm and friendle. Couldn't fault our time there and we will definitely return

    Looking for somewhere to dine near my hotel in Hobart I had passed this restaurant and liked what I saw. Booked a table in the bar/bistro area. Cant fault the decor, the service and the food. In fact I’ve booked to go back again tonight.
