   Disappointed with the food, oily and lacked flavour. Very small restaurant. Service was the only thing that worked for us.

   We are quite regular at Hakkahan as it is close to us. The food is amazing, it's got a nice lively vibe and friendly service though if it is busy, this can sometimes be a tiny bit slow. We love the authentic cuisine and their alcoholic cocktail bubble tea is delicious (and a little too easy to drink!).

   Fantastic food, fresh, plentiful and full of flavour. Our third time here, will be back.

   Quite a Boho little place - recycled wood, benches, no frills, bright lights. A long menu, with good guidance regarding spiciness. (We stayed within the 3 chilli level) Good options for eating sharing style, or regular starter, main course etc. Food very tasty, but some was very salty. Could be due to a spice mix they sprinkle over some dishes? The squid was a bit rubbery. Bit disappointed that the aromatic crispy duck was a fried crumble of duck bits, not pieces of pulled roast duck. Perfect rice. Chicken with cashew very good. Scallion pancakes good, but weirdly had a strong margarine flavour (or butter substitute spread) Wine list short but something for everyone, & reasonably priced.

   The dumplings were gorgeous, chilli squid really tasty. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly and they topped up water glass frequently. Fried rice was tasteless and the bench seats are extremely uncomfortable.

   Very extensive menu. To be honest we did not enjoy the experience. The food was disappointing. It did not feel prepared on the day and as a result it tasted dry and over cooked and did not have a great flavour.

   Best chinese food in Dublin, amazing value and great service and staff! Would recommend!

    We booked 9.15pm but got a call at 8.30 to say the kitchen was closing at 9.15 so we rushed our drinks and got there for just after 9. Most of the tables were turned upside down. There were two other tables eating and one finished soon after we arrived. They were cleaning around us and spraying bleach spray on the tables next to us. The smell was horrendous while trying to eat. By the time we finished the floors were cleaned and just about all tables were too. Surely they could wait until diners are finished eating? While I couldnt fault the food as always, we’ve been there about 5 or 6 times, this was by far the worst experience. We felt very uncomfortable like we were being rushed out the door. All in all our meal with 2 courses and a drink lasted a half hour. Not happy and with so many alternatives nearby I doubt I’ll be back.
